Ocean Acidification Occurring More Quickly than Predicted

The increasing acidity of seawater, caused by high levels of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, may have dramatic and unpredictable effects of marine ecosystems.  Evidence suggests that acidity is increasing at a much faster rate than predicted.
